Peace Mob Guidelines

Simple guidelines that keep Peace Mob peaceful.

1

Open to All

Free and non-commercial. No entry fees, no advertising, no upselling, no soliciting. All are welcome regardless of background, belief, or identity.

2

Reclaiming Public Space

Use public places — parks, plazas, transit stations, university quads. Anywhere a stranger can encounter and join. Private homes, ticketed venues, and members-only spaces don't qualify as Peace Mobs.

3

23 Minutes of Silence

Every Peace Mob opens with 23 minutes of silence. This is non-negotiable. Each attendee chooses how to spend the silence — sitting meditation, walking, sipping tea, gentle mindful movement, silent prayer, anything compatible with shared silence.

4

Show Up as a Person, Not a Position

No politics, partisanship, religion, recruitment, or divisive content. If it creates conflict, it's not Peace Mob. Bring yourself, leave the agenda.

5

Sober & Chemical-Free

Don't bring alcohol or substances. No synthetic fragrances — one in three people are sensitive.

6

Be a Good Guest

Leave the place better than you found it. Treat passersby and fellow attendees with care.

Peace Mob may remove gatherings or members that violate these guidelines.
