Terms of Service
Last updated: May 20, 2026
Welcome to Peace Mob. These terms apply to anyone using the platform at peacemob.org. Peace Mob is operated by Tea Tribe LLC. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
What Peace Mob is
Peace Mob is a platform that helps people find and host free, public gatherings for inner peace and interpersonal harmony. Peace Mob is not the organizer of any specific gathering. Hosts organize their own gatherings; Peace Mob provides the listing infrastructure.
Using the platform
You may browse gatherings without an account. To RSVP or host, you'll need to sign up.
You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose: organizing and attending peaceful, public gatherings. You agree not to use the platform to harass, deceive, or harm other users, or to violate any law.
Hosting gatherings
Hosts are responsible for their own gatherings, including obtaining any permits, ensuring the safety of attendees, complying with local laws, and following the Peace Mob Code of Conduct. By posting a gathering, you confirm you'll do all of these things.
Peace Mob may remove gatherings or hosts that violate the rules, at our sole discretion.
Attending gatherings
You attend gatherings at your own risk. Gatherings happen in public spaces and Peace Mob does not vet, supervise, or take responsibility for what happens at any individual gathering. Use your own judgment about what's safe for you.
Content you submit
You retain ownership of content you post — event descriptions, location notes, your profile (display name, bio, photo), offerings, and messages — but grant Peace Mob a non-exclusive license to store and display that content as needed to operate the platform.
Don't post content that's illegal, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or that violates the Peace Mob rules (no commercial activity, no recruitment, no divisive content).
Messaging other members
Peace Mob lets members send direct messages to one another. Use messaging respectfully. Don't use it to harass, spam, deceive, or send unwanted commercial or recruiting messages. You can block any member to stop them from messaging you, and adjust who can message you in your settings.
Reporting
If you come across a gathering, host, or member that violates these terms or the Code of Conduct, you can report it from the gathering's page or by emailing mobster@peacemob.org. We review reports and may remove content or accounts at our discretion.
Copyright and DMCA notices
Peace Mob respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content posted on Peace Mob infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our designated agent with the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or person authorized to act on their behalf).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (a URL is best).
- Your contact information — name, address, phone, email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same designated agent with: your signature, identification of the material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the Northern District of California.
Repeat infringers. Accounts that repeatedly post infringing content will be terminated.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Peace Mob rules.
Liability
Peace Mob is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tea Tribe LLC is not liable for damages arising from use of the platform or attendance at any gathering.

We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.
