About Peace Mob
One line. Peace Mob is a movement of free, in-person peace gatherings that open with 23 minutes of silence in public space.
Short.Peace Mob helps people find and host “Mobs” — free, public gatherings centered on 23 minutes of shared silence. Anyone can attend; vetted hosts convene them in openly accessible spaces. What happens after the silence — tea, music, conversation, quiet — is up to the people who show up.
Longer.Peace Mob is a decentralized platform for organizing silent, in-person peace gatherings. The core ritual is 23 minutes of opening silence at a time and place posted by an approved host. Each attendee spends the silence however suits them — sitting, walking, prayer, gentle movement, tea. Gatherings are always free, always in public space, and always open to all. There are no donations required to attend, no commercial activity, and no political or religious agenda. The aim is simple: a visible, recurring practice of collective calm that anyone can join and any approved host can bring to their own community.
